Changelog
Every change to a figure or formula is recorded here.
- Added a guide on how much the RACP exams cost in 2026 (DWE and DCE fees, resits, refunds and attempt limits), linked from the RACP page.
- Accuracy review against current official sources. RACGP CCE fee updated to $5,866 (2026.2 and 2027.1). RACS Fellowship Entrance Fee now shown incl. GST ($3,300). RACGP exam dates updated to 2027.1. RANZCP (60 months FTE) and ACRRM (4 years FTE) program lengths confirmed from college pages. RACS skills course prices added (not in totals).
- Added a Guides section. The first guide covers whether specialty college fees are tax deductible in Australia, with links to the relevant ATO pages.
- Added the tax and expenses tracker. Expenses are recorded in the browser, grouped by ATO label, and can be exported as CSV or a printed summary. It works offline and can be added to a home screen.
- Revised copy across the site and updated the colour scheme.
- Added RANZCOG, RANZCP and ACRRM with 2026 fees from each college’s own fee pages. RANZCOG fee history back to 2023 from archived copies of its fee page.
- Unconfirmed items are marked: ACRRM AST assessment costs and whether RANZCOG’s Foundations of Surgery workshop is required.
- Corrected the net cost: employer allowances are now counted after tax at your rate, because they are taxable income. A QLD RACP trainee over 6 years at 30% now nets about $3,420 instead of a negative number.
- QLD allowance now uses the MOCA 7 vocational training subsidy of $4,647 a year from 1 July 2026, taken from the agreement itself (cl 7.4.1, Table 1.4).
- Launched with 2026 fees for RACP, RACS, RACGP, ACEM and ANZCA, state allowances for all eight states, RACP fee history back to 2019 and ACEM back to 2019 with one gap.
